Privacy Policy
Effective: August 15, 2026 · Last updated: August 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Seamless Draft collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the website, Draft Room, customer account features, payments, Player Intelligence, support, and ESPN Live Sync browser extension. Seamless Draft is intended only for people age 18 or older.
1. Information you provide
Account information
When you create an account, we process your first and last name, display name, email address, password through our authentication provider, user ID, and authentication/session information. Seamless Draft does not receive or store your plaintext password.
Draft setup and strategy
We store the information you use to configure the service, including league and draft names, platform, scoring and roster settings, team count, draft slot, schedule, Mock or Live purpose, Draft Profile preferences, and Draft Notes.
Rankings and tiers
Ranking and tier files are parsed in your browser for preview. Ranking screenshots are also read in your browser and matched to the canonical player directory before you confirm an import. Seamless Draft stores the filename and source label plus normalized player identities, rankings, position ranks, ADP, tiers, and import-resolution information used by your draft. The current application does not upload and retain the original CSV, XLSX, or screenshot as a stored file object.
Deep Dive questions and support
If you use Deep Dive, the question is sent for processing as described below. Seamless Draft stores a one-way hash used to recognize repeated questions and a time-limited answer cache, rather than storing the plaintext question in that cache. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in a Deep Dive question.
If you email Support, your email provider and our business-email provider process your address, message, and attachments. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, ESPN cookies, authentication tokens, or API keys.
2. Draft activity and service records
We process and store draft picks, roster state, available-player state, recommendation inputs and outputs, setup progress, draft lifecycle, Mock simulation choices, connection state, operational diagnostics, usage limits, and records needed to keep a draft synchronized and recoverable.
We also maintain security, provider-usage, credit, purchase, refund, dispute, support-adjustment, and audit records needed to operate and protect the service.
3. ESPN Live Sync browser extension
When you explicitly pair ESPN Live Sync, the extension reads visible ESPN fantasy-draft state needed to identify the draft, league, teams, current status, and completed picks. It sends normalized draft settings and pick information to the paired Seamless Draft live draft so the board, rosters, available players, and recommendations can stay current.
The extension does not read or transmit ESPN passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, raw HTML, raw page text, browsing history, payment information, or activity from unrelated websites. It does not make ESPN draft selections.
Chrome extension-local storage is limited to the short-lived pairing session, delivery sequence, connection status, and bounded safe diagnostics used for troubleshooting. Disconnecting Live Sync revokes the paired writing session. The extension may retain local status and diagnostics until you disconnect, clear extension data, or remove the extension.
4. Payments
Stripe hosts Checkout and processes payment-card and eligible wallet information. Seamless Draft receives and stores Stripe customer, Checkout, payment, charge, refund, and dispute references; product and price information; transaction amount and currency; purchase status; and resulting Live Draft Credit activity. Seamless Draft does not store complete payment-card numbers or card-security codes.
5. Player Intelligence and OpenAI processing
Automatic Player Intelligence may send OpenAI public football context such as a player’s identity, NFL team, position, and season so current public information can be researched. This automatic path does not send your email address, Draft Notes, or full uploaded rankings.
When you submit a Deep Dive question, OpenAI receives the selected player’s identity, team and position, scoring format, that player’s imported rank and tier, and your question. Provider requests are configured with OpenAI storage disabled. Provider processing remains subject to the provider’s service infrastructure and policies.
Seamless Draft stores source-backed Player Intelligence, generated answers, source links, freshness information, usage records, and limited cost/diagnostic metadata. Public football intelligence may be stored in a shared season-level cache associated with a canonical player and reused across eligible drafts and users. Your private Draft Notes and complete ranking board are not added to that shared cache.
6. Analytics, cookies, and browser storage
Seamless Draft uses first-party product analytics stored in its application database to understand a limited launch funnel, such as landing, signup, draft setup, mock, ESPN connection, pricing, Checkout, and purchase milestones. Analytics metadata is allowlisted and does not include player names, uploaded ranking contents, Draft Notes, Deep Dive questions, or email addresses.
For public-page analytics, we set an HTTP-only, same-site first-party cookie named de_analytics_session. It contains a random identifier and expires after 30 days. Authentication also uses session storage and cookies needed to keep you signed in securely.
The Draft Room uses browser local storage for limited preferences such as the double-click drafting option and Mock opponent-simulation configuration. We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party ad pixels, Google Analytics, or social-media tracking pixels.
7. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- create and secure accounts;
- provide rankings, draft setup, recommendations, Decision Scores, Draft Room state, mocks, and live drafts;

8. Service providers and disclosure
We disclose information only as reasonably needed to operate the service, complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect rights and security. Current principal service providers include:
- Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure;
- Vercel for application hosting and runtime delivery;
- Stripe for Checkout and payment processing;
- OpenAI for configured Player Intelligence and Deep Dive processing; and

Seamless Draft does not sell personal information. We do not use rankings, Draft Notes, or Deep Dive questions for advertising. We do not currently send marketing email; any future marketing email program will require a separate opt-in. Transactional, security, policy, and support communications do not require marketing consent.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain information while reasonably needed to provide and secure the service and for the purposes described in this Policy. There is no single fixed retention period for every record.
You may delete leagues and their related drafts through available product controls. You may request account deletion by contacting Support. Account and draft information may be deleted or de-identified, while transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, legal-compliance, and agreement-enforcement records may be retained where reasonably necessary.
Before requesting account deletion, contact Support to resolve any unused Live Draft Credits. Deleting an account may make remaining credits unavailable.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, including authenticated access, server-side authorization, row-level database controls, signed Stripe webhooks, scoped extension pairing credentials, and restrictions on sensitive commercial and provider configuration. No Internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Your choices and requests
You may update available account and draft settings, delete individual leagues, disconnect ESPN Live Sync, clear browser or extension-local storage, and request account deletion or assistance through Support. We may need to verify your account before completing a privacy or deletion request.
12. Children’s privacy
Seamless Draft is not intended for children or anyone under 18. Signup requires users to confirm that they are at least 18 years old; Seamless Draft does not collect a date of birth. If you believe a person under 18 has provided personal information, contact Support.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy prospectively. The effective and last-updated dates will appear above. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes through the service or the email associated with your account. When a materially different use of information warrants it, we may request new affirmative acceptance.
